The Super Eagles had their first training session of the day ahead of their game against African champions Algeria on Friday.
In a series of photos released online today, the players were seen taking instructions from the Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr.
The three-time African champions are without Victor Osimhen, Wilfred Ndidi and Oghenekaro Etebo, but other regulars are in camp.
New players like Kevin Akpoguma, Cyriel Dessers, Mathew Yakubu, Frank Onyeka and Zaidu have also familiarised themselves with their new teammates.
Former Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo, who is now Rohr’s assistant, was also spotted putting the players through their paces.
The match against Algeria is Nigeria’s first game since they beat Lesotho in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nation qualifiers last November.
It is also the first time they will be facing the North Africans since losing to them in the semi-final stage of 2019 AFCON.
The encounter will take place at Worthersee Stadium in Austria with kick-off set for 9:30 pm.
