A section of the Secretariat of the Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS, located in Asokoro District, Abuja, has been gutted by fire.

The fire which started on Tuesday night gutted the Department of Finance and Account of the commission.

A source who spoke to newsmen revealed that the fire has been put out by firemen drafted to the scene.
