Pastor Laurie Idahosa has said that a happy marriage is a thing of choice and not a product of a perfect man or woman.
In a tweet she shared, Laurie Idahosa said that the choice has to be made on a daily basis and it requires a lot.
"A happy marriage is not a product of a perfect man or woman. It is not the product of enough money or ideal circumstances. A happy marriage is a choice you must make every single day.
"The choice to love, forgive, prioritize, listen... and give space when space is needed" she wrote.
In a post she made weeks back, Laurie Idahosa stated that anyone who isn't ready to do certain things which she listed isn't ready for marriage.
She wrote: "There is MUCH MORE to marriage than romance. If you aren't ready for a life of: - Giving - Listening - Selflessness - Forgiveness - Shared domestic space - Financial Disclosure - Raising Children - Shared Business Risk, etc.. Then, you may not be ready for marriage".
