The Bank of Industry has denied any information alleging that it had begun to offer a "Bank of Industry Small Scale Grant 2020.”
Taking to Twitter, the bank described the grant as false and a fraudulent means of taking innocent individuals money.
The scam requires perpetrators to send links to a Google form and ask applicants to pay ?750 to complete their applications.
BOI discredited it and said customers should rather email them or look up their website before falling for fraudulent schemes.
