Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has ordered all major and community markets in the state to be opened on May 23, 2020.
The governor disclosed this to newsmen on Friday through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Olusegun Ajiboye.
Market activities had earlier been banned by the governor so as to help curb the spread of coronavirus in the state.
The lifting of the ban is to enable Muslims celebrate this year's Eid-el-Fitri festival.
