Delta State Government has announced the discharge of one COVID-19 patient who has recovered from the respiratory illness.
The announcement was revealed on the state government's official Twitter handle on Sunday morning.
This is coming after at least five other patients were discharged on Saturday after testing negative for the virus.
There are now a total of 25 confirmed cases in the state with at least 12 recoveries and five deaths, according to the state government who revealed that there are eight active cases of COVID-19.
Of the 176 cases announced by the NCDC in the early hours of Sunday by the NCDC, none cases were confirmed in the state.
Nigeria's COVID-19 record toll has risen to 5621 cases 1472 recoveries and 176 deaths, according to the NCDC.
