The Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC has announced a total of 176 fresh cases of the deadly COVID-19 on Saturday night.
This brings the total #COVID19 cases across Nigeria to at least 5621 infections, 1472 recoveries and 176 fatalities, according to the NCDC.
The breakdown of the 176 new cases of #COVID19 are as follows:
95-Lagos
31-Oyo
11-FCT
8-Niger
8-Borno
6-Jigawa
4-Kaduna
3-Anambra
2-Edo
2-Rivers
2-Nasarawa
2-Bauchi
1-Benue
1-Zamfara
As of this morning, Lagos remains the epicentre of the deadly virus in Nigeria with a total of 2373, Kano stays second with 761 despite recording zero cases, while the FCT is ranked third with at least 379 cases.
Katsina, Bauchi and Borno States follow behind with a total of 239, 212 and 212 cases respectively, according to the NCDC.
Ranked numbers seven to nine are Jigawa 197 with cases, Ogun with at least 145 cases and Kaduna with a total of 138 infections.
The NCDC's report revealed that Gombe is next with a total of 124 cases of coronavirus.
