Former Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial district, Dino Melaye has directed bloggers using his thoughts to generate content on their websites to pay him.

The senator who fired at the owners of these websites said they reported "rubbish" about him.

Dino's words: "SDM is not a criminal and can not have a secret engagement. People using me to promote their blogs & 4 publicity staunch will have to start paying. Matchmaking 2 different pictures & writing rubbish now equal to engagement. Una no even fear 4 this Corona period..2nd base oo jare."

Quite recently, he filed a lawsuit against the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, and two others, Pascal Obi and Tanko Sununu, over the controversial ‘Infectious Diseases Bill’, which passed second reading.

The development led the Christian Association of Nigeria on the same route, as they petitioned Gbajabiamila, over the bill.

In the end, the House of Representatives suspended the third reading and passage of the Quarantine Act (Repeal and Enactment) Bill 2020 popularly referred to as NCDC Bill.
