The Federal Fire Service have put out an inferno which occurred at Obalende earlier today.

The explosion was a result of a fallen tanker whose contents spilt into Oando Filling Station.

The fire developed into an inferno with several bomb blasts emanating from the scene.

Men from the Federal Fire Service arrived at the scene in time.

It also warned residents to steer clear of the affected area.
