Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has made face masks compulsory in every public gathering.
He made this proclamation whilst giving a situation report of the virus.
Revealing that the Government has begun to produce face mask en masse, he said once it is ready, it will be distributed for free.
Sanwo-Olu urged the private sector to patronise the local manufacturers for face masks and distribute to members of their staff.
"It certainly cannot go round. I want to appeal to the organised private sector to patronise local manufacturers and distribute to their workers," the state governor pleaded.
