Engineers of the Nigerian Airforce Institute of Technology have manufactured prototype ventilators to combat COVID-19 in the country.
The locally-made ventilators were presented Wednesday in a meeting between the Armed forces and the Airforce.
The two prototype ventilators would serve as templates for more production of ventilators.
The team helped in repairing and activating several ventilators that have been sitting idle in the past.
