Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has promised to donate his blood to be used by experts in research on COVID-19.
Recall that Seyi Makinde who recently recovered from the deadly virus stated that he nursed himself back to good health by taking black seed and honey which a member of his cabinet gave to him.
In a tweet, the governor revealed that Oyo State is currently advocating for local solutions to curing the virus which now has 373 confirmed cases in Nigeria.
He tweeted: “We have been advocating for local solutions to the COVID-19 pandemic in Oyo State.
“So, as a COVID-19 survivor, I volunteered to donate my blood to be studied by our experts researching on the “Evaluation of Post Infection Protection against SARS-COV-2 (COVID-19) in Nigeria.”
