Ikeja Electric has promised to restore electricity to residents of Ojodu Berger and Omole Phase 1.

It made this statement in a tweet that was circulated on the microblogging platform.

Explaining the cause of the current outage, it blamed it on a fault on the Express feeder supplying their vicinity.

Nonetheless, it promised to restore power soon.

"Work is in progress to restore supply within the shortest possible time. We regret all inconveniences," it tweeted.
