Mike Adenuga redeems his N1bn pledge to fight against coronavirus

Nigerian billionaire businessman, Mike Adenuga, has redeemed his one billion naira pledge to the fight against coronavirus.

Recall that MyNigeria.com informed you of the private sector coalition formed by the Nigerian business tycoons called CACOVID(Coalition Against COVID-19), headed by Aliko Dangote, to support the Nigerian government in the fight against COVID-19.

This is regardless of the personal contributions that some of the including Femi Otedola, have made to the COVID-19 battle.

The announcement was made by Mr Otedola, who posted a copy of Adenuga's payment confirmation.

He said, "Chief Mike Adenuga has now fully redeemed his pledge of N1 billion to the CBN/Nigerian Private Sector Coalition against COVID-19 from the Mike Adenuga Foundation."

From the document, Mr Adenuga confirmed the payment of the N1bn to the Central Bank of Nigeria.
