President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) has approved the release of 70,000 Metric Tonnes of Grains from Nigeria’s National Strategic Grain Reserves to the poor and vulnerable.

According to the President, the grains are to be distributed to the poor and vulnerable persons in frontline COVID-19 States.

They are also meant to be given to those whose livelihoods will be affected by the Lockdowns.
