The Governor of Akwa Ibom, Udom Emmanuel has inspected the emergency isolation unit set up to battle COVID-19 in the state.

This was revealed in a short statement via the Governor's official twitter handle.

"In the wake of the concerns raised by the #COVID19 pandemic, I visited the state quaternary healthcare center, the Ibom Multi-Specialty Hospital to assess the recent emergency treatment facilities we installed, and to be sure they are in good working conditions," the Governor said.
