Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has set up a N2 billion relief fund for the victims of Abule Ado explosion in Amuwo Odofin.
According to the Governor who made the disclosure today, he said that the fund would be dedicated to helping victims of the gas explosion that took place yesterday.
To demonstrate the state's commitment to cause, he said that the Lagos was contributing the sum of N250m into the fund as he urged well meaning Nigerians and organisations to contribute to the fund.
Sanwo-Olu added that the funds would be managed by the Deputy State Governor and went ahead to give details of the bank accounts set up to collate the relief fund.

Yesterday, a gas explosion from pressurized containers resulted into the destruction of several houses and an all girls school in Abule Ado.
