The Lagos State Safety Commission has urged everyone living around Festac, Abule Ado, Mile 2 and Ojo to stay away from the scene of the gas explosion.
This was contained in a statement by the commission to the general public.
It also advised everyone to leave their vehicles and avoid calling anyone with at least a radius of the area of the explosion until the right of way of the pipeline is ascertained.
We urge everyone living around Festac, Abule Ado, Mile 2 and Ojo to stay away from the area of the Gas Explosion. Leave all vehicles and Avoid Phone calls.

The explosion occurred at Abule Ado, Trade Fair axis of Lagos State 9 am this morning.
