Mohammed Jamilu Gunddare, the man alleged to have attacked the President has expressed his immense love for President Major General Muhammadu Buhari

At a press conference that took place less than 24 hours after he tried to grab Buhari, Gunddare revealed that he was attached to the President's outstanding virtues of honesty.

These were the values that promoted him to attempt to shake him at the event.

Discrediting widespread rumors that he could be arrested or tortured afterwards, the Gunddare said:

“I am alive and the DSS never tortured me; nobody ever tortured me, I was well cared for and given food. It has been my ambition to meet with Mr President. It was only a misinterpretation of events."

Corroborating the story by the mystery man, Honorable Minister of Information & Culture, Alh. Lai Mohammed said Gunddare was never shot by the Police or Department of State Security.

"You can see this is a gentleman who loves Mr President. This young man's only ambition was to see Mr President, " Lai Mohammed explained.
