President of the African Development Bank, Akinwumi Adesina is not resting on his oars soon, as he has promised to do more for Africa.
He made this statement as he clinched the award for African of the Year. It was based on public votes of Africans around the world and conducted by the African Leadership Magazine.
Adesina who was overjoyed at being the award recipient pledged to prioritize Africa as he had always done.
"I am greatly honoured to be selected as the 2019 “African of the Year” by the public votes of Africans around the world - the peoples’ voice - conducted by the African Leadership Magazine. “Today, yet again, I hear a clarion call, go and do more for Africa”. Thank you Africa!" Adesina said.
