A 24-year old trader has been arraigned before an Abuja Magistrate Court for allegedly sodomizing a nine-year-old boy.

The trader, Mustapha Umar was charged with one count of unnatural offense.

According to the Police Prosecutor, ASP Peter Ejike, the case had been reported since Jan.19

Ejike alleged that on Jan.18, Nura reported that the defendant sodomised his nine-year-old son.

The defendant however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Magistrate Chinyere Nwecheonwu admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N300, 000 with one surety in like sum.
