Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Pantami has inaugurated the newly constituted governing board of the Nigerian Communications Satellite systems.
The inauguration ceremony held at the ministry’s headquarters in Abuja today where three members were unveiled as members of the Board of the satellite firm.

The three new members are: Prof. Abdu Ja'afaru who serves as the Executive Director, Technical Services, Nigcomsat; Dr.Najeem Salaam, Executive Director, Marketing and Business Development, Nigcomsat, and Architect Yusuf Kazaure
They were appointed to the board of the satellite firm after taking their oath of office.

Charging the new appointees, he urged them to read voraciously and always thirst for knowledge, noting that the challenge that existed in the ICT Sector was really huge.
"The challenge as a Governing Board Member in the ICT Sector is a huge one, you cannot deliver effective and efficient services without reading, learning, unlearning and relearning," Pantami said.
