The Lagos State Government has divulged their plans to make Lagos a smart city.
State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, promised to deploy a 3000km fibre optic cable round public institutions to grant them internet access.
He called on all residents of the State to register with the Lagos State Residents Registration Agency to assist the state government with adequate data in catering for his people.

He added that the State was working with the NIMC to utilize the infrastructure of the Lagos State Residents Registration Agency for data capture by residents of Lagos State.
