Zamfara State Governor, Dr Bello Matawalle has ordered for immediate construction of a mosque in place of the demolished ritualists' den in the state's capital, Gusau.
He made this disclosure via his Twitter page yesterday.
According to the State Governor, the essence of the construction of a mosque in the ritualists' den is for the benefit of the Muslim neighbourhood.
And as such, the Governor promised never to fall short of his duties in protecting the residents.
"Our administration is committed to protecting the dignity of human lives & upholding the religious sanctity of all faithfuls," he said

So far, Coronavirus has appeared in 19 states out of the 36 states of the Federation and Zamafara is not one of them.
Nonetheless, most of his counterparts have banned movement, suspended services and restricted activities to the barest minimum to curb the virus.
Even though a total lockdown has not been ordered. Lagos, Ogun, Abuja have been held to a standstill while other states did the same to curb the spread of the deadly virus.
However, a few others lauded the Governor for his moves, notwithstanding the rise of the pandemic in the West African nation.
Masha Allah your Excellency @Bellomatawalle1 Many Thanks to you base on your efforts to the people of Zamfara, we pray that May the Almighty continue guide and protect to your Administration

Your Excellency, my friend is suggesting that the place should've been turned into SKILLS ACQUISITION CENTER. That way, it would be of great benefit & sanctity for all FAITHFUL in the community.
