Popular activist Omoyele Sowore has revealed what a love interest told him before ending their relationship.

Sowore, a two-time presidential candidate in a no-holds-barred interview on the Honest Bunch Podcast said he was heartbroken after that particular relationship ended.

He explained that at the time, his girlfriend's mother did not support their relationship.

"I protested to the point that no female would come near me. I had a girlfriend who left and said, 'Good luck to you. There is no way someone like you can live long.' Her mom was against me. It was one of the most heartbreaking experiences that I have had," he said.

"She left me and said, 'It doesn't look like you have a future because we graduated the same year, and she was going to NYC while I had no results.' The mom just called her and said, 'Look, is it this guy that you want to follow?"
