You can no longer afford to charter aircraft; always remember power is temporary – Charly Boy mocks Amaechi

Rotimi Amaechi Rotimi Amaechi

Entertainer Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has issued a warning to Nigerian leaders to be cautious with their attitudes while in office as power is transient.

His comment comes after he spotted former Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi who was also the former Minister of State for Transport under the former President Muhammadu Buhari administration at the airport waiting alongside other passengers.

Using Amaechi as a case study, the Area Fada narrated how the former Minister had to stay in the same departure lounge with him at the Abuja International Airport, waiting for a flight that was delayed for one hour.

Taking to his social media page, Charly Boy mocked the former Governor, saying he no longer has access to Rivers State aircraft or can afford to charter an aircraft with his own personal income.

He warned that whatever position they currently occupy that makes them believe that they are superior to others, they should remember that power is temporary.

Charly Boy wrote: "Time & Tides
Nigerian Mumu Leaders

Once your reign is over:

1. The hypocrites are gone.
2. The sycophants are gone.
3. The bootlickers are gone.
4. The MOPOL security men are gone.
5. DSS are withdrawn.
6. Soldiers are re-assigned.
7. FAAN staff no longer shake or shiver at your presence.
8. You no longer have access to Rivers State aircraft.
9. You cannot afford to charter an aircraft from your personal income.

Then Amaechi has to stay in the same departure lounge in Abuja with me (an Alagbado man), waiting for an aircraft that was delayed for 1 hour.

Whatever position you occupy presently that makes you believe that you are superior to your colleagues, please remember that it is temporary.

Power is transient."
