Political activist Aisha Somtochukwu Yesufu, popularly known as Aisha Yesufu, has blasted investigative journalist David Hundeyin for calling her out in a post he shared on social media.
Speaking about corruption within some Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Hundeyin accused Yesufu and Adamolekun, among others, of being part of a USAID group that promoted the Bring Back Our Girls campaign.
He wrote, “One day when the US-funded NGO gravy train in Abuja is only a memory, the likes of Adamolekun, Yesufu, etc. will come out by themselves and tell us the true story of that 2014-15 USAID/State Department movie production called "#BringBackOurGirls." They will confess by themselves.”
Aisha Yesufu, the co-founder of the #BringBackOurGirls movement, was not pleased with his remarks and took to her page to call out the investigative journalist for his continuous cyberbullying.
In a series of tweets, Aisha Yesufu described Hundeyin as a psychologically challenged investigative journalist and challenged him to release any investigations he has conducted about her.
The activist noted that Hundeyin has repeatedly mentioned her name despite having blocked her on social media. She labelled Hundeyin as extremely talented but deeply flawed and evil, adding that his parents’ religious fanaticism had psychologically damaged and invalidated him, leading him to constantly seek validation.
