Yes, I voted for Tinubu, but I did not know things would become so bad – Jagaban supporters cry out

Nigerians continue to express their disappointment in President Bola Tinubu’s leadership following the economic crisis in the country

Several traders and citizens lament the difficulty in their ability to feed and survive under Tinubu’s government.

They complain about the rise in fuel prices, an increase in the prices of food due to scarcity, among other problems.

A man was heard saying that garri, a staple food eaten by common citizens, has become a food for only the rich as they are unable to afford the cost.

He expressed his plan to relocate outside the country because things have become unfavourable.

“When Tinubu entered the presidency, his first declaration was to remove the subsidy, which was the genesis of Nigeria’s problems under his leadership. Garri we have been eating is now only for the rich. Semo is better than garri now. Have you heard of prices of things in Nigeria that were increased and later reduced? I want to relocate (japa).”

Another man claimed that N1,000 worth of food is no longer sufficient for any man due to the high cost of food.
