A woman has taken to social media to express her displeasure at the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, after her mother’s properties were destroyed without notice.
In her post, she shared a video of her mother standing on the debris of the demolished building and crying for help.
Explaining what transpired, the lady stated that individuals claiming to be from the Lagos State Government were there to demolish the property.
According to her, the houses were built on her mother’s own land. She lamented that the following day, the officials returned with policemen and tout to destroy her mother’s shops and farms, leaving her hypertensive mother running around rescuing her birds.
The lady claimed that they were not given prior notice nor was a court order presented before the destruction.
The infuriated woman cursed Sanwo-Olu and all those involved in the demolition of her mother’s houses.

Just to be clear, we were NOT given any notice. Like Not One Notice. showed up on friday with caterpillars and plenty police, and everyone was shocked. The police harassed everyone, and my parents are elderly. they came back today and demolished the shop and farm.
