Deputy State Governor of Lagos State, Obafemi Hamzat has reacted to last night's fire incident that destroyed several properties at Abule Egba.
Commiserating with the victims affected by the raging fire that went on for hours, he vowed to deal with oil vandals and increase security in the state.
He tweeted: "I am heartbroken about the unfortunate incident at Abule Egba caused by continuous pipeline vandalism and total disregard for live and property.
"We will be unforgiving to vandals & increase security along volatile corridors. Our thoughts and prayers are with families in the area."

MyNigeria gathered that the fire broke out 7pm at one of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation facilities at Ekoro, Abule Egba.
The inferno raged for more than two hours before fire fighters responded. Two have been confirmed dead from the unfortunate incident.
