The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has conducted 7153 test samples for COVID-19 in Nigeria
The statement was made in a tweet by the health agency this evening.
"As at 6:00 pm, 17th April 2020, 7153 samples have been tested for COVID19 in Nigeria," the statement read in part.
It also added that it is working hard to increase the number of samples nationwide.
