Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan received a rousing welcome today as she arrived at her constituency office in Kogi Central.

The show of solidarity comes in the wake of her six-month suspension from the Senate, following allegations she made against Senate President Godswill Akpabio, accusing him of sexual harassment.

The controversy began when Senator Natasha expressed dissatisfaction with a seating rearrangement during plenary.

Her attempt to address the Senate President was thwarted, as she was reportedly not in her assigned seat. The situation escalated when she insisted on speaking, leading to a heated exchange.

In an interview with Arise TV, Senator Natasha alleged that Akpabio targeted her because she refused his sexual advances.

Her accusations sparked widespread debate, with the Senate suspending her for six months and attempts underway to recall her from the Senate.
