Popular On-Air-Personality, Ifedayo Olarinde popularly known as Daddy Freeze has claimed that Jesus Christ was feminist.

In a video that has since gone viral, Freeze explained that Jesus Christ was feminist because the first person he showed himself to after his resurrection was a woman.

His statement has generated a heated debate social media with many describing him as a 'joke'.

When asked by a follower why Jesus Christ didn't have a female apostle if indeed he was a feminist, Freeze noted it was a factor of the society Christ was in.

"The fact that you are a feminist does not change the world you live in," he replied.

According to him, Christ never relegated women to the background, but religion did.

Daddy Freeze is a known OAP personality who became famous during his time as Cool FM.

Born in the Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca, to a Nigerian father and a Romanian mother, Freeze began his radio career in 1996 with the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS), Ibadan. He joined Cool FM in 2001.
