The Prime minister of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak, has congratulated Bola Ahmed Tinubu on winning the elections and being declared as the President-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He sent his congratulatory message to Tinubu via his Twitter page

Sunak said he looks forward to working with Tinubu to grow the security and trade ties of Nigeria and the U.K.
