Two Premier League giants, Liverpool and Chelsea, are reportedly in a race to sign Nigeria's Ademola Lookman next summer.

According to reports, the Reds and the Blues are prepared to offer a staggering €75 million (£63.2 million) to sign the reigning African Footballer of the Year.

Lookman has been in explosive form since joining La Dea in the summer of 2022.

The 27-year-old guided Atalanta to their first Europa League title last season with a historic hat-trick in the final against Bayer Leverkusen.

The former Leicester City loanee has maintained his brilliant form this season, netting 18 goals and providing seven assists in 32 games across all competitions.

Lookman is approaching the end of his contract, and a return to the Premier League could be on the cards for the Super Eagles winger if he decides to leave Bergamo at the end of the season.

According to Fichajes, both Chelsea and Liverpool are preparing bids for the African Footballer of the Year.

Lookman joined Atalanta in a deal worth €9.4 million (£7.9 million) from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2022.
