French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are making significant progress in their pursuit of Victor Osimhen.
The Parisians have long been admirers of the Napoli striker, who is rumored to be leaving the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium this summer.
Despite signing a new deal with Napoli last December, it is widely known that the reigning African Footballer of the Year will depart the Naples-based club this summer.
While Osimhen prefers a move to the Premier League, with Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal interested, recent reports indicate that Paris Saint-Germain are in advanced talks with Napoli to secure a move for the Super Eagles striker.
However, Osimhen's €130m release clause has stalled his transfer. To overcome this obstacle, PSG are considering creative solutions, including a player-plus-cash deal involving Carlos Soler, Nordi Mukiele, and Kang-In Lee.
Osimhen is reportedly open to joining PSG if an agreement is reached with Napoli, as per Fabrizio Romano.
The Nigerian international is tipped to replace Kylian Mbappe, who left PSG for Real Madrid at the end of last season. Whether the two parties can reach a conclusive agreement remains to be seen.
