Premier League side Fulham are reportedly leading the race to sign Nigerian international Samuel Chukwueze ahead of the summer transfer window.

Serie A giants AC Milan are said to be preparing to offload the Super Eagles winger at the end of the current campaign.

Chukwueze has struggled to meet expectations since joining the Rossoneri from Villarreal in the summer of 2023.

The 25-year-old has managed just eight goals and five assists in 66 competitive appearances for Milan.

Chukwueze has been included on a shortlist of players expected to leave the club as Milan look to make room for reinforcements.

According to Italian pundit Antonio Vitiello, Chukwueze could be on his way to Fulham after a potential January move fell through.

“Milan has put Chukwueze up for sale after two years of anonymity,” said Vitiello.

“He is one of the transferable players on the market after he almost packed his bags in January to join Fulham. The deal fell through due to time constraints, but with three summer months, there will be plenty of time to find a solution.”

Should the move go through, Chukwueze would join his Super Eagles compatriots Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey at Craven Cottage.
