Joshua Torunarigha has been called to replace injured Nathan Tella in the Super Eagles squad listed by coach Eric Chelle for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.

Nigeria will face Rwanda on March 21 and Zimbabwe on March 25.

In the goalkeeping department is Stanley Nwabali, Amas Obasogie and Kayode Bankole.

The defenders listed for the games include William Troost-Ekong, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Bruno Onyemaechi, Olaoluwa Aina, Igoh Ogbu and Calvin Bassey.

In midfield, Chelle opted for Wilfred Ndidi, Raphael Onyedika, Alhassan Yusuf Abdullahi, Alex Iwobi, Joseph Ayedele-Aribo and Papa Daniel Mustapha.

The forwards for the games include Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Victor Boniface, Simon Moses, Sadiq Umar and Nathan Tella.
