As the country celebrates the Christmas festivities, the Federal Government has announced free train rides for any Nigerian wishing to travel.

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, made the known on Monday, December 16, 2024, while briefing journalists on the outcome of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

He stated that the free train ride will begin on December 20, 2024, and end on January 5, 2025.

Idris mentioned that Nigerians can access the train rides on all the routes where train services are currently available.
