The rivalry between Festus Keyamo and Dino Melaye is one that dates back to 2015 when then-candidate Buhari ran for the biggest office under the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The bitter rivalry has been laced with allegations, counter-allegations, and insults throughout the years to this day. With the general elections only months away, both men have resumed what neutrals have enjoyed watching.

Their roles in the political campaigns of their various political parties ahead of February mean both men will have the opportunity to continue their rivalry.

Dino Melaye is the Spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party’s Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) while Festus Keyamo is the Chief spokesman for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council.

A major talking point that has got Nigerians talking again is an old viral video of both men attacking each other during an electioneering period.

Both men traded insults when they appeared on a political talk show on Channels TV.
