The world’s most populous black nation, Nigeria, in the past 6 days, has been thrown into chaos following the ongoing nationwide protest to end bad governance in the country.
The nationwide protest tagged #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria started on Thursday, August 1, 2024, in many parts of the country, with citizens demanding an end to bad governance, insecurity, hunger, corruption, and high cost of living.

Deji Adeyangu
Activist and human rights lawyer, Deji Adeyangu, perceived as the leader of the nationwide protest in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja was physically present at the protest ground on day one.
The Barrister was seen conducting interviews in which he responded to a court injunction presented by Commissioner of Police, Benneth Igweh that requested protesters to go into the national stadium to continue their protest.
