Award-winning Afrobeat singer David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has humorously pointed out the discrepancy between the money sprayed on him and his wife during their wedding and the amount he took home.
Davido and his wife, Chioma Adeleke, held a lavish wedding ceremony on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at the Harbour Point Event Center in Lagos State.
The ceremony was a huge success, with many dignitaries and guests in attendance to celebrate with the newlyweds.
One of the highlights of the ceremony was when friends, colleagues, and guests showered the couple with stacks of dollar bills as they danced.
However, a recent video posted on Instagram showing Polanco showering Davido with a stack of $100 bills has sparked reactions on social media.
Davido humorously commented on the post, joking that while a lot of money was sprayed on him during the wedding, what he took home didn't quite add up.
He wrote: "The video of all the money dem spray is and wetin we carry go house no dey tally."
