Suspected murderer, Frank Akpan who was arrested for the murder of Iniubong Umoren has been found dead in his cell.

On Thursday morning, May 13, 2021, Franks was found dead after committing suicide, using his trousers to hang himself from one of the metal frame of his cell door.

Iniubong was pronounced missing on Thursday, April 29, 2021, after she went job hunting along Airport Road in Uyo, Akwaw Ibom. The young lady was later found dead in a shallow grave which was the home of Frank Akpan.

Akpan was arrested for having connection to the death of the graduate of Univeristy of Uyo.

The 20-year old had been arrested and being interrogated after he was alleged to have been connected to the missing and later killing of Iniubong Umoren, a 2019 graduate of University of Uyo, Uyo.
