Ahead of the long-awaited verdict of the Supreme Court in the presidential election appeal of Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, security operatives have taken over the premises.
The security operatives have taken over the Supreme Court in order to prevent any actions of unscrupulous individuals to disrupt the judicial process.
Recall that the Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) Atiku Abubakar, and Labour Party's (LP) Peter Obi have filed separate appeals to challenge the earlier 6 September verdict of the Presidential Election Petition Court which stated that President Bola Tinubu emerged victorious after the elections.
Today’s verdict will be the court's last decision on the disputes over the election, and it will give the final say on whether Tinubu's election was valid or not.
