Supporters of Peter Obi, 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party have urged him to stop apologising over social media attacks.
The Obidients ask him to focus on wining the election petition before the court rather than apologising over insults thrown at cetain personalities.
In a recent apology, Peter Obi took to his Twitter page to distance himself from the online attacks some of his alleged supporters lashed out at the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
Recall that during the monthly thanksgiving service at the RCCG Headquarters in Ebute-Metta, Pastor Adeboye called on Christians and Nigerians to pray for the incoming government and that God will support it and give it the grace to do the right thing.
According to reports, some Obi supporters took to social media to drag the Pastor over his comment.
Reacting to the attacks, Peter Obi in a Twitter post apologised and said Obidients are law abiding people and the attacks are from the opposing camps.
However, some Obidients have taken to social media to warn him to desist from apologising for every online attack else he will kill the fire of his supporters.

If he continue like this, one day he will apologize to Yakubu Mahmoud who sold our mandate pic.twitter.com/XMhp8UnnoC
Yes I totally agree with this, stop apologizing to everyone just for them to see how transparent you are. Keep your apologies and stay focus, you're not indebted to anyone but God almighty.

I agree. I am tired of his apologies. Very tired of it. It’s becoming very annoying.

Peace is optional.
If they bring violence we are ready.
If they bring peace we will give peace.
We are responsible for our actions and inactions.
We ain't apologetic, if you mess up you go collect.
