Millions of people have taken to social media to express their utmost shock and devastation over the gruesome killing of the #EndSARS protestors in Lekki by armed military men reported to have been sent by the government to carry out the act.
Videos circulating on social media, Tuesday, October 20, 2020 showed some protestors being shot and killed by the soldiers, with several of them sustaining bullet wounds, and blood spilling all over the place.
The #EndSARS protests started as a very peaceful protest by some Nigerian citizens against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) and police brutality within the country. Now, protestors are being targeted, tortured, and killed.

They are ready to kill.. so to change them you have to be prepared to die #CrimesAgainstHumanity #LekkiMassacre #EndSARS
Somebody must stand trial for this. I don't care how long it takes. Someone must be held accountable. If not by domestic criminal law, then by international criminal law. This bloody impunity has to end with our generation. #EndSARS #LekkiMassacre
