• Gunmen kill six policemen

• They are suspected to be members of IPOB

Gunmen have attacked the Odoro Ikpe Police Station in Ini Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, killing six officers on duty.

According to reports these gunmen are suspected to be members of the Indigenous People of Biafra.

The attack took place in the early hours of Saturday, May 8, 2021.

This joins the series of attacks against the security men.
