A source has revealed how the notorious human trafficking kingpin, who was recently arrested, managed to evade authorities in Ghana and Nigeria for over a decade.
Speaking with MyNigeria, the anonymous source disclosed that the suspect, known as Emeka and nicknamed "Pu**y Mama," always used black magic to avoid arrest.
The source explained, "She has a shrine, so whenever authorities came to her residence, she would touch the wall and vanish."
Emeka, who had been on the wanted list in both Ghana and Nigeria, was apprehended by the Buduburam District Police in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
According to GNA, a local news platform, Emeka, who identifies as intersex, is involved in trafficking women from Nigeria, Liberia, and Togo into Ghana for prostitution, as stated in a police report.
The report mentioned that these women were forced into prostitution at various locations, including hostels and nightclubs in Kasoa, Buduburam, and surrounding areas.
Emeka would deceive these women with promises of lucrative jobs, only to later coerce them into prostitution.
In an interview, Emmanuel Azubuike, Coordinator of the Nigerian International Human Rights Observatory Africa, mentioned that the Nigerian government had been pursuing the suspect for years and commended the efforts of Ghanaian authorities.
He urged the Ghana Police to ensure that the suspect faced justice in accordance with the country's laws.
