On-Air-Personality, Rufai Oseni has advised the Labour Party to conduct a forensic examination of the leaked audio of Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party and David Oyedepo, Founder of the Living Faith Church.
In the now-viral audio tape, Peter Obi could be heard seeking the support of the cleric in the February 18 presidential elections in the southwest region and the northcentral.
The controversial tape which has sparked a conversation on both social media and traditional media was published by the online portal, Peoples Gazette.
Reacting to the tape and the controversy it has generated, Rufai said a forensic examination must be done on the conversation.
"I think a total forensic examination should be done as regarding the conversation and everything that has happened. As I said, it's political season and you will have a lot of A.Is, manipulated, doctored materials, people will cut conversation to suit their purpose and that is why I said that the forensic examination there should be checks for voice distortions."
"People will be able to cut and paste and all of that like the allegation the APC made that the audio is a reflection of who the person is."
