The Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Community Engagement (North Central), Abiodun Esseit says "renewed hope" has finally arrived as she shared photos of a toilet project she is currently embarking on on in a community in Plateau State.
Posting the photos on her X account, she disclosed that the facility would be the first in Nagohom Community, Mazah Ward, noting that it will be built within the school compound.
According to her, the toilet project will help solve the difficulties young girls encounter while experiencing their monthly flow.
"The first toilet in Nagohom Community, Mazah Ward, Plateau State is almost completed. It is built within the school compound. When it is completed, our Girls will have a place to change their sanitary pads," she wrote on X.
She continued: "Our girls will not miss classes again when they are having their menstrual cycle. I have contributed to ending open Defecation in Nigeria. I have contributed to the development of the Nagohom community. The renewed hope is here."
